The Tree, the Beach, the Sea

I waited for you under the tree

So someday you could find me  

I counted leaves while waiting for you

I saw the four season 

Felt cold in my bones

Butterflies surrounded me

Sweated my love

Saw leaves turning yellow to brown

I waited for you on the beach

So someday you could find me

I saw rain fall on sand

And saw children cherish with their families

Missed smiling with you

Saw couples and envied their love

I waited so you could pity me and come back

So I would lose myself in thoughts

I waited for you in the sea

So waves would wash away my sorrow

Sea water burned my scars

Fish surrounded me

I felt nothing like them

I waited for you so you could see my back

And you could not stop me 

So I would go far far away
